Nature Writing by the Wharfe (1 Day Workshop) – 10th May
An immersive one-day nature writing workshop with poet and editor John Whale and poet and environmentalist Matt Howard in the beautiful grounds of Nell Bank, an outdoor centre nestled in the Wharfe valley on the outskirts of Ilkley. In the morning you’ll enjoy a guided nature exploration, observing and drawing creative inspiration from the ancient oak woodlands, flora and fauna. In the afternoon Whale and Howard will cultivate your understanding of nature writing as you create prose and poetic responses to your outdoor experiences.
Welcome refreshments and a tasty locally sourced lunch are included.
Bring warm waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for uneven terrain.
