The Art of Ekphrastic Poetry with Claire Lynn
Ekphrastic poetry takes artwork as its inspiration. In this workshop with New Northern Poet Claire Lynn, you’ll discover the art of ekphrastic poetry, learning different approaches to writing in response to paintings, experimenting with ways of opening up artwork in your writing and imagining beyond the visible on the canvas. You’ll come away with the beginnings of your own ekphrastic poems and new techniques to apply to your poetry practice.
