We are Recruiting!
After 7 years we are saying goodbye to Laura Beddows this week as she leaves Ilkley to work as Assistant Producer at Hull City of Culture.
Laura first joined the Festival in 2009 first as Festival Intern then returned with the Box Office team before becoming Festival Administrator and finally Programme Coordinator. She has been an invaluable member of the team, ensuring the smooth planning and running of the Festival, as well as programming the Children’s and Young People’s events and working on so many projects, such as Stanza Stones, that we’ve lost count!
We are going to miss her hugely but we know that she has an amazing career ahead of her in Hull and beyond.
We are however delighted to be welcoming back Erica Morris as Assistant Festival Director. Erica was our Box Office Manager last year and has previously worked at Harrogate International Festivals, Theatre By The Lake and the Witham Arts Centre.
We are also recruiting for several new people to join out friendly, enthusiastic staff team.
Along with a super-efficient Programme Coordinator to work on the Festival year round, we are also looking for a Festival Assistant to join us in the run up to the Festival and a number of Stage Managers to look after our authors during the Festival.
